MHANYS’ School Mental Health Resource and Training Center wants to hear from K-12 school staff. As we look to the second half of this school year, we want to know the mental health needs of your students.
Are you responsible for teaching a mental health curriculum in your school?
Are you a counselor, social worker or other mental health professional working in a K-12 school?
Are you an administrator wanting to best support student mental health and wellness?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, the School Mental Health Resource and Training Center wants to hear from you. As we look to the second half of the 2021-2022 school year, we want to know about the following:
- What’s going well in meeting the mental health needs of your students?
- What emotional and behavioral challenges, barriers and concerns are you seeing this year?
- What additional supports and resources do you think would be helpful to your students?
Over the course of three weeks, staff from the School Mental Health Resource and Training Center will host six open forums over Zoom. By hearing from you directly about the needs of your students, we hope to gain a better understanding of what additional resources we can offer in 2022.
School staff from any public, private or independent K-12 school are welcome to attend any of the sessions listed below. Registration is required and active participation in the sessions is encouraged.
Sessions Limited to the first 50 participants, so don’t delay
