To help schools prepare for implementation of the law, MHANYS partnered with the State Education Department and the NYS Office of Mental Health to form the New York State Mental Health Advisory Council.
Schools are encouraged to explore the options and choose a program that best meets their needs.
The Resource Center is not recommending a specific curriculum to meet the new law but is committed to providing schools with a list of possible resources and technical assistance.
