Suicide Prevention Resources

Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among youth people ages 10 to 24. Everyone has a role to play in preventing youth suicide – schools, families, caregivers and communities.  The resources below will help raise awareness about suicide, create suicide safety in schools and communities and promote information about how and when to access help.

To help promote the Crisis Text Line, the NYS Office of Mental Health has put together an easy-to-use toolkit to provide strategies and messaging for marketing this important crisis resource.
