Youth Peer Successes within Community and School Partnerships

Join credentialed Youth Peer advocates and a licensed Clinical Social Worker to learn more about how they have successfully established peer advocate programs throughout the WNY school system.
Experts from Mental Health Advocates of Western New York (MHAWNY) will share how Youth Peer Advocacy has grown across Western New York through strong partnerships with school districts and community agencies that support children’s mental health. Presenters Julie Hill, Doug Hahn, and Peg Barrett will highlight the Youth Peer Advocate program at Mental Health Advocates of Western New York and their initiative to develop a peer warmline, the Trusted Chat Line, for youth and young adults.
