No-Cost YMHFA Training Seats Available for School and Community Organizations
Take this opportunity to sign up for an online YMHFA certification class in honor of May as Mental Health Awareness Month!
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.
What to Know:
- ATTENDANCE: This is a certification course (not a webinar). Attendance is required. Only register if you are able to attend.
- BE PREPARED: Many of our trainings require participants to complete pre-work online.
- CANCELLATION: If you register and cannot attend, let us know immediately. We will make sure all seats in the class are utilized by giving the opportunity to another person.
Things to Consider:
- There is high demand and need for mental health literacy training. Please sign up for one class and mark your calendar.
- Read and respond to emails from MHANYS regarding this training in a timely manner. You will need to complete pre-work to attend the trainer-led sections.
- Seats are limited. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
